Speaking of Mets collapses… the glorious smell of anguish eminating from Shea last night just made my week.  It doesn’t matter if the Phils lose the next three games of this set (actually, it does, but…), I will always have the image of So Money Taguchi and Jimmy Rollins blasting in runs to take a last-minute, ninth-inning lead over the Mets burned into the best corners of my mind.  If watching So Money and the slumping JRoll plague the Mets wasn’t great enough, there were plenty of other Phillies that joined in on the Metkakke, such as Carlos Ruiz.  TAGUCHI!  RUIZ!  Wow.  What a game.

On Jeremy Shockey

I was going to write an article on former Giants tight end and all-around-bastard Jeremy Shockey and how glad I am that he will be departing the NFC East… but I don’t think I can sum up the general douchebaggery that is Shockey any better than Kissing Suzy Kolber did.  Deadspin also wrote a nice piece on the newest Saint.  Check ‘em out.
